Hi welcome to Everest Bound, my name is Andreas Breitfuss and I am going to climb
the highest peak in the world, Mt. Everest!
When it comes to mountaineering I am really a novice in comparison to many of the famous alpinists
of our time. However the goal to climb to the highest peak in the world can't be taken lightly.
The truth of the matter is that I am climbing Mt. Everest not because it's just there to climb or
for experience of the journey. No... it's none of that, I am doing it for me, I really enjoy
climbing. I am going to push my mind, body and spirit to the absolute limit of human endurance to
experience the glory of standing on the highest point on planet Earth.
The 2012 Mt. Everest climbing season (April-June) is when I will be standing at the top of the
world.
